Our home, is the Gibber Gunyah ............
In a little valley not far from you now,
there dwell beings of great Enchantment and creatures rarely seen,
who do not care for who you are or what you have
or where you have been.
They wish not for cars or mobile phones or big TV's in grander homes
but for the light of the life giving Sun and Rain,
the clearness of skies,
the luminosity of the Stars and
an ever changing Moon, under which to commune
and celebrate ALL that is.
Long ago together with the Ancients
they created music and song
with humility and great gratitude .
They celebrated the magic of the seasons,
the mappings in the stars and life's infinite connections and cycles.
Stories remembered passed on in song and dance,
honoured wisdom and teachings exchanged.
In the coming together of the Enchanted and Mystical perspectives,
the magic compounded, becoming amplified and expanding eternal out into the ether. Magic reverberated high across the ridges and flowed down through out the valleys, seeping deep into the veins of the land.
The land was immersed in the most beautiful spirit of sacred ceremony for thousands upon thousands of years. Ceremonies of deep connection to the land and the sky, the Ancients giving and receiving in joy knowing all the mysterious and enchanted beings of the Earth and Sky.
How lush life was as "One" - long ago when this was understood.
Nestled in the pristine Mt Yengo surrounds, Gibber Gunyah exudes a sense of belonging and Oneness. Magic lingers patiently, wafting subtly through the breeze, it flows through the stark grey gum's leaves and the hollow of the wombat's burrow. It is steeped in the escarpments and deep caves, sung out in inescapable bird song from dawn and lights a dark night with jewels after sunset.
Enchantment dwells awaiting connection with those wishing to step back into the vibration of that Other World.
